Memory Cafés welcome persons experiencing memory loss, along with family and friends who love and care for them.  Attendees participate in activities, learning, music, conversation, refreshments, laughter, and fun.

 

Appleton

Summer is hot! Let’s chat about ways to exercise in the summer and try a few seated chair exercises in the comfort of the air conditioning! 

 

Kaukauna

Join us for a fun version of the “Newlywed Game”.  Did you know that the popular game show debuted on this day in 1966?  We’ll listen to some funny clips of the show, hosted by Bob Eubanks, and then play a “friendship” version of the game. 

 

Kimberly

Join us for some summer fun at the Smith Park Pavilion in Menasha with the NewVoices choir for a performance of ‘Show Tunes’ songs from the stage to the screen. Bring your folding chairs. 

 

Neenah

Neenah Public Library, 240 E Wisconsin Avenue, Neenah – Monday, July 18 – 1:30 – 3:00p 

The Y-Not Chorus will perform patriotic songs. Sit back and listen or join along in song.





New London

Mosquito Hill Nature Center, N3380 Rogers Road, New London – Wednesday, July 13 – 1:30 – 3:00p 

BUGS!! You will have a whole new outlook on insects as Staff Naturalist, Jessica Miller brings her love for these little critters to our café. The nature center is brimming with beauty, so enjoy the drive out and join us for an afternoon of friendship, learning, and fun. Afterwards, there will be an ice cream social!

New London Senior Center, 600 W Washington Street, New London – Monday, July 25 – 1:30 – 3:00p 

We have a Master Gardener coming to talk about how to keep your garden healthy and growing throughout the summer and do some troubleshooting if you have questions about plants.

We’ll eat a nice salad with plenty of yummy ingredients and make a garden craft.

 

Oshkosh

Oshkosh Public Library, 106 Washington Avenue, Oshkosh – Wednesday, July 13– 1:30 – 3:00p

It’s an underwater adventure at the Oshkosh Public Library! Leave your snorkels at home as we are introduced to the various animals living in the ocean’s depths through YouTube videos. Octopi, squid…oh my! We’ll also create underwater creatures for home made of paper.

Salute to the Red, White, and Blue – let’s celebrate the land of the free and home of the brave. Wear your Stars and Stripes (red, white, and blue) and enjoy patriotic themed activities, games, and more. Get ready to party like it’s 1776!
