Carissa Paul, CTRS
Community Development Manager
Carissa’s passion for serving older adults is deeply rooted in personal experience. Inspired by her mother’s career in social work and her grandfather’s journey with Alzheimer’s disease, she developed an early interest in helping others. That commitment grew through volunteer work in long-term care, where she saw firsthand the impact of compassionate, person-centered support.
Carissa brings over eight years of experience in dementia care and memory support and is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS). She holds a Bachelor of Science in Therapeutic Recreation from UW–La Crosse and a Master of Business Administration from Lakeland University.
As Fox Valley Memory Project's Community Development Manager, Carissa is passionate about expanding the reach and visibility of the organization’s programs throughout the community. She actively promotes the mission by building strong relationships with participants, care partners, volunteers, and local partners.
