Kyle Hicks

Resource Navigator & Program Coordinator

Kyle brings heartfelt compassion and a deep commitment to supporting individuals and families affected by memory loss. His connection with Fox Valley Memory Project began during his graduate studies at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh, where an internship opportunity sparked a lasting passion for dementia care and community engagement. With a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Viterbo University and a Master of Social Work from UW Oshkosh, he offers a strong foundation in person-centered support and plays a vital role in program delivery and outreach.

Kyle is actively involved in the Mindworks programs, where he brings energy, empathy, and a sense of fun to each session. He treasures the opportunity to hear participants’ life stories and provide thoughtful support to families navigating Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. One of his proudest accomplishments was helping launch the Oshkosh Mindworks group during his internship. What began with just two members has grown into a vibrant and supportive community, and Kyle still enjoys stepping in as a “substitute teacher” to reconnect with longtime participants.
