Memory Camp at Moon Beach

A place of connection, comfort, and joy

Nestled at Moon Beach in St. Germain, Wisconsin, this multi-day retreat welcomes individuals with mild to moderate dementia, along with their caregivers and families. Hosted by Fox Valley Memory Project, the camp offers a peaceful setting where participants can relax, engage, and simply enjoy being together.

Camp Experience

The camp offers a stigma-free environment where participants can enjoy traditional camp activities while leaving the dementia diagnosis “at the top of the hill.”

Activities include:

Singing and poetry creation
Campfires and s’mores
Beach yoga and swimming
Fishing, kayaking, and canoeing
Guided nature hikes and visits to a music garden
Jigsaw puzzles and card games

Support and Respite

Each family is paired with a trained respite volunteer, allowing caregivers to take breaks while their loved ones are engaged in safe, enriching activities.
